What is Stage V?
The Stage V directive is the EU’s most advanced emissions standard for Non-Road Mobile Machinery (NRMM). It sets aggressive new targets to cut harmful outputs from diesel engines, specifically carbon monoxide, hydrocarbons, oxides of nitrogen, and particulate matter. The adoption of this standard is key to reducing the carbon footprint of the UK’s high-polluting sectors.
